Dennis Rodman signed Pistons New Balance NBX shoes
A matching pair of white, gold and navy New Balance NBX basketball shoes, US size 14, signed “Dennis ‘Worm’ Rodman / 10” (his Pistons number) on both shoes. The seller lists them as game‑worn, and both soles are handwritten “1‑6‑90 / PISTONS vs NY. 117‑106.” They come from the estate of a collector who worked at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The listing states plainly that they are not professionally authenticated and that no photo‑match has been found.

What to know
- Not professionally authenticated. The seller says so plainly in the listing. Bid based on the photos and the seller’s description.
- The game notation. Both soles are handwritten “1‑6‑90 / PISTONS vs NY. 117‑106.” The Pistons beat the Knicks 117‑106 on January 6, 1990, per the listing. The seller notes that no photo‑match has been found tying this pair to that game, so the notation is a handwritten record and not an independently verified match.
- The signatures. Both shoes are signed “Dennis ‘Worm’ Rodman / 10,” and 10 was his Pistons number. The left shoe is also inscribed “Best Wishes” on the heel and the right shoe “All the Best” on the toe.
- Provenance. Acquired directly from the widow of a collector who worked at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The seller says supporting documentation is available on request.
- Condition. The seller lists the pair in “Good Condition,” with wear consistent with age including scuffing and creasing. See all 19 photos.
- The shoes. A matching pair of New Balance NBX shoes in US size 14.
